Jermaine's best moment so far was winning the Ministry of Sound's Annual DJ Competition beating 650 other entries. The final was held at the Oxford Street Top Shop store in London. He was the first of the five finalists to play and realised that he had to go for broke not knowing what the other DJ's were capable of. Only being allowed to play five records he cut through his favourite styles of Breakz, House and Trance with accapellas and even a bit of scratching behind his back. After a nerve wrecking time of watching the other finalists play he was elated when Ministry resident Paul Jackson announced that he was the winner. Jermaine got to play at Mos alongside the Prodigy's Leeroy Thornhill.
